ALL new and returning athletes must be registered and cleared in Athletic Clearance in order to participate in conditioning, camps, and tryouts.
The Athletic Clearance is your first step in being able to participate in any high school sport. The platform is a paperless system that manages athlete registrations, physicals, and all necessary documents to be able to play sports at Atlantic High School.
Additionally, athletes are required to pay the "Pay-to-Participate" fee for any sport. This fee helps to cover the use of infrastructure (pool, practice fields, etc).
Below are step-by-step instructions for completing the Athletic Clearance and the Pay-to-Participate process. When selecting options with a school year, please choose your corresponding one.
Athletic Clearance
Please follow the following steps carefully.
In the end, all forms & certificates (except for the Impact Online test) need to be uploaded to your Athletic Clearance account.
Click on the Florida button.
Create an account or, if you already have an account, type your username and password
Click on” Add New Clearance”
Select the correct school year (ex. 2024-2025)
Select School: Atlantic (Port Orange)
Select "Swimming Boys" or "Swimming Girls"
Click Next
Select your student’s name or add a new student
If the student already has an account, the information will already be filled in. Once the student’s name is selected, update the grade, insurance information, and complete education history.
If the student does not already have an account, select add new student and fill out all information.
Click Save and Continue
Fill out the Parent/Guardian Information.
If you already have an account, select the name of the parent/guardian and the information will be filled in (you need to select who is filling out the information, and select the college recruiting information).
Click Save and Continue
Fill out medical information, and make a selection on Participant Accident Insurance
Click Save and Continue
Student must read and sign:
Consent and Release from Liability Certificate 23R.
Consent and Release from Liability Certificate for Concussion 23R.
Consent Release from Liability Certificate for Sudden Cardiac Arrest 23R.
Consent Release from Liability Certificate for Heat Related Illnesses 23R.
Release from Liability Certificate for FHSAA Rules 23R.
Click Save and Continue
Parent must read and sign:
Consent and Release from Liability Certificate 23R.
Consent and Release from Liability Certificate for Concussion 23R.
Consent Release from Liability Certificate for Sudden Cardiac Arrest 23R.
Consent Release from Liability Certificate for Heat Related Illnesses 23R.

Upload Physical and complete the following virtual courses (Links for the videos are on the page). Upload the Certificate of Completion that is at the end of each virtual course.
FHSAA Concussion Video Certificate.
FHSAA Heat Illness Video Certificate.
FHSAA Student cardiac Arrest Video Certificate.
Click on “Submit your completed registration”
Once your application has been processed, you will receive an email from “noreply@athleticclearance.com” letting you know that the swimmer has been cleared to participate in swimming for Atlantic. Please check your Spam/Junk folder.
Pay-to-Participate
Students will be expected to pay an annual fee of $75.00 a sport regardless of size of the program.
Go to Parent Portal
Click on "Purchase and Pay" on the left navigation menu.
Scroll down and select “PTP Swim 1st Sport 24-25” and click “+ Add to Cart"
Scroll up and click Checkout on the top right.
There will be a convenience fee to be collected. Click Continue.
Fill out the information for payment and click Continue.
You will receive a message that the checkout is complete.
A receipt will be emailed to you or you can download the receipt by clicking “View Receipt Now". Then click Continue.
